Bart Kohler works closely with select Goldner Hawn portfolio companies developing growth strategies. Bart brings over 25 years of experience overseeing middle market distribution companies through different phases of their life cycle, ranging from startup to turnaround. Just recently, Bart retired as President of Takkt America Holdings, a portfolio of distribution companies owned by Takkt AG, a large publicly traded German company.

Outside of Takkt, Bart served on the boards of many closely held family businesses assisting leadership teams in topics ranging from succession planning, digitalization, and other organic growth opportunities, along with extensive M&A experience. Additionally, Bart has built powerful and aligned management teams through Open-Book Management practices and principles, Servant Leadership philosophies, and implementation of the Service Profit Chain initiatives.
